These Strawberry Brownies are a delightful twist on traditional brownies, made using a strawberry cake mix that results in a moist, fruity dessert with a beautiful pink hue. Garnished with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, they offer a perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors, making them a crowd-pleasing treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Brownie Batter

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

Garnish

  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • Whipped cream (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan to ensure the brownies don’t stick after baking.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla bean paste. Stir thoroughly until you achieve a smooth, even batter with no lumps.
  3. Pour Batter: Pour the prepared brownie batter into the greased baking pan and spread it evenly using a spatula so the brownies bake uniformly.
  4. Bake: Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center— it should come out with a few moist crumbs. The edges should be set but not dry.
  5. Cool: Remove the pan from the oven and place it on a wire rack. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan to help them set for easier slicing.
  6. Serve: Once cooled, cut the brownies into 16 squares. Serve them plain or with a dusting of powdered sugar and a dollop of whipped cream, garnished with diced fresh strawberries for an added burst of flavor.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh and ripe strawberries for garnish to enhance flavor.
  • You can substitute vanilla bean paste with vanilla extract if necessary.
  • Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
  • These brownies can be slightly underbaked for a fudgier texture if preferred.
