This Espresso Whipped Cream recipe transforms classic whipped cream with a rich espresso flavor, perfect for topping desserts, coffee, or breakfast treats. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it whips up quickly and adds a delightful coffee kick to your dishes.

Ingredients

Espresso Whipped Cream

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream (500 ml)
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar (40 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder (6 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start Whipping: Place the heavy whipping cream in a large mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed for about 1 minute until the cream begins to thicken.
  2. Add Flavors and Sugar: Add the powdered sugar, instant espresso powder, and vanilla bean paste (if using) to the cream. Increase the mixer speed to high and continue to beat for 1 to 2 minutes until stiff peaks form, indicating the whipped cream is firm and ready.

Notes

  • For best results, chill the bowl and beaters before whipping to help the cream whip faster.
  • You can adjust the espresso powder amount based on your preference for coffee intensity.
  • Use immediately or store in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Re-whip lightly if needed before serving.
  • Vanilla bean paste is optional but adds a richer vanilla flavor compared to extract.
