Cheddar Ranch Chicken Burgers are tender, juicy chicken patties packed with bold ranch seasoning and sharp cheddar cheese, making them a flavorful and easy-to-make meal perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Chicken Burger Patties

  • 2 lbs ground chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 oz ranch seasoning mix
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed and minced
  • 1/2 cup finely diced onion
  • 1/2 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
  • Oil, for cooking

For Serving

  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Ranch dressing
  • Additional vegetables of your choice

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, egg, plain breadcrumbs, ranch seasoning mix, minced garlic, diced onion, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Shape Patties: Cover a baking sheet or large cutting board with parchment paper. Shape the chicken mixture into 6 to 8 burger patties, depending on your preferred size. Complete shaping all patties before cooking to ensure they cook evenly at the same time.
  3. Preheat Pan: Heat a large cooking pan over medium heat and add enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan, preparing it for frying the patties.
  4. Cook Patties: Place the chicken patties in the hot pan and cook for about 6 to 8 minutes on each side, depending on their size. Ensure they are cooked through by checking that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Assemble Burgers: Place each cooked chicken patty on a burger bun. Top with lettuce, sliced tomatoes, ranch dressing, and any additional vegetables you prefer. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Gluten-free option: Use ground chicken labeled gluten-free and gluten-free breadcrumbs to avoid gluten. Confirm that your ranch seasoning mix is gluten-free as well. Adjust the breadcrumb quantity if needed to achieve proper consistency.
  • Storage: Store cooked chicken burgers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3–4 days for optimal freshness and safety.
