This refreshing 2-ingredient watermelon sorbet made with Ninja Creami is a perfect light and hydrating treat. Combining fresh watermelon and coconut water, this sorbet is incredibly simple to prepare and requires just freezing and spinning with your Ninja Creami machine to achieve a smooth, creamy texture.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 cup+ cubed watermelon, rind removed
  • 1 cup+ coconut water

Instructions

  1. Prepare Watermelon: Cut off the rind of your watermelon and chop the flesh into small cubes to ensure easy blending and freezing.
  2. Fill Pint Container: Place the diced watermelon into the Ninja Creami pint container, filling to the max fill line. Pour coconut water into the same container up to the max fill line, balancing the liquids and solids.
  3. Freeze the Mixture: Secure the lid on the pint container and place it on a level surface in the freezer. Freeze the mixture for 12 to 24 hours until completely solid.
  4. Prepare for Spinning: Once frozen, microwave the pint container for 30 seconds or run the outside of the pint under hot water for a couple of minutes. This loosens the sorbet for better spinning.
  5. Spin in Ninja Creami: Insert the pint into the Ninja Creami machine and spin using the sorbet setting. Alternatively, you can use the lite ice cream setting.
  6. Re-spin if Needed: If the sorbet’s texture is dry or chunky after the first spin, re-spin as necessary until you achieve a smooth, creamy sorbet consistency.

Notes

  • Make sure to freeze the mixture for at least 12 hours to allow the sorbet to set properly.
  • If the sorbet is too icy or crumbly, multiple spins in the Ninja Creami can help improve texture.
  • Using fresh, ripe watermelon will enhance the natural sweetness of the sorbet.
  • You can adjust the coconut water quantity slightly for desired consistency and level of coconut flavor.
  • This recipe is single-serving but can be multiplied to make larger batches.
