Vanilla Jasmine Milk Tea combines the delicate floral notes of jasmine tea with the creamy richness of milk and a hint of vanilla. This sweet and aromatic beverage is the perfect balance of refreshing and indulgent, making it an ideal drink for any time of day. Whether served hot or iced, this milk tea offers a soothing experience that will transport you to a peaceful tea garden.

Ingredients

1 cup jasmine tea (brewed and cooled)

½ cup milk (whole, almond, or oat milk)

1 tablespoon vanilla syrup or ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

12 teaspoons sweetener (honey, sugar, or simple syrup)

Ice cubes (for iced version, optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew a cup of jasmine tea by steeping 1-2 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea or 1 tea bag in hot water (about 200°F/93°C) for 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bag or strain out the leaves. Let the tea cool to room temperature or refrigerate to speed up the process.
  2. In a separate saucepan, heat the milk and vanilla syrup (or extract) over medium heat until warm, stirring occasionally. Skip this step if you’re making iced tea.
  3. Once the tea is cooled, add it to a glass and stir in your preferred sweetener to taste.
  4. Pour the warm vanilla milk into the tea and stir until combined.
  5. If making iced tea, add ice cubes to the glass before pouring the tea-milk mixture over the ice.
  6. Optionally, garnish with a cinnamon stick or a sprinkle of vanilla powder for extra flavor and presentation.

Notes

For a stronger tea flavor, steep the tea for a longer period or use an extra tea bag.

You can adjust the sweetness to your liking with more or less sweetener.

For a dairy-free version, swap milk with any plant-based alternative like almond or oat milk.

Add boba (tapioca pearls) for a fun bubble tea experience!

For a spiced version, add a pinch of cinnamon or cardamom to the mix.
