A delightful S’mores Iced Latte combining rich espresso, creamy almond milk, homemade chocolate syrup, and marshmallow extract for a nostalgic campfire treat transformed into a refreshing cold coffee beverage.

Ingredients

Drink

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (8 fl oz)
  • 1 1/2 fl oz espresso
  • 2 tbsp homemade chocolate syrup (1 fl oz)
  • 1/2 tsp marshmallow extract
  • 1 cup ice

Optional Garnish

  • Melted dark chocolate for rim
  • Crushed graham crackers for rim
  • Marshmallow fluff for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rim (Optional): Dip the serving glass into melted dark chocolate, then sprinkle with crushed graham crackers. Place the glass in the refrigerator for 2-3 minutes to set the chocolate and prevent it from running down the glass when filled.
  2. Combine ingredients: Pour the unsweetened vanilla almond milk, espresso, homemade chocolate syrup, marshmallow extract, and ice into the serving glass. Stir thoroughly to combine the flavors evenly.
  3. Garnish and serve (Optional): Top the latte with marshmallow fluff, then gently toast the fluff using a kitchen torch to create a lightly caramelized, gooey topping. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • The homemade chocolate syrup enhances the flavor, but store-bought can be used as a shortcut.
  • Adjust espresso strength to taste for a bolder or milder coffee flavor.
  • Ensure the marshmallow extract is food-grade and fresh for the best aroma.
  • For a vegan or dairy-free treat, use plant-based marshmallow fluff if topping.
  • Using a kitchen torch is optional, as the drink is delicious without toasted marshmallow topping.
  • To make it sweeter, add more chocolate syrup or a sweetener of choice.
