Remoulade Sauce is a tangy, creamy condiment with bold flavors from mustard, horseradish, and spices. It’s the perfect accompaniment for seafood, fries, or as a zesty spread for sandwiches and burgers. Simple to make and packed with flavor, it elevates any dish.

Ingredients

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp horseradish

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp hot sauce (like Tabasco)

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Add horseradish, lemon juice, hot sauce, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.
  3. If desired, stir in freshly chopped parsley for added freshness.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more lemon juice or hot sauce if needed.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.

Notes

For a smoky twist, add smoked paprika.

Incorporate fresh dill or tarragon for an herbaceous note.

Increase the spice level with extra hot sauce, cayenne, or more horseradish.

For a lighter version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt or sour cream.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
