Peach Lemonade is a refreshing and tangy beverage that combines ripe peaches with freshly squeezed lemon juice. This easy-to-make homemade drink is perfect for hot summer days, offering a delightful twist on classic lemonade with the natural sweetness of peaches.

Ingredients

45 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 34 lemons)

1/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Peach slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel and pit the peaches, then cut them into chunks and place them in a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend the peaches until smooth. Optionally, strain the puree to remove pulp for a smoother lemonade.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the peach puree, fresh lemon juice, and sugar. Stir well to dissolve the sugar. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
  4. Add 4 cups of cold water and mix everything together. Add ice cubes to chill the lemonade.
  5. Serve the Peach Lemonade in glasses over ice. Garnish with peach slices and mint leaves for a refreshing touch.
  6. Enjoy your cool, fruity beverage!

Notes

For a fizzy version, substitute some or all of the water with sparkling water or club soda.

If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can adjust the sugar or use natural sweeteners like honey or agave syrup.

Frozen peaches work great in this recipe and can help chill the lemonade while blending.

You can add fresh herbs like basil or thyme for an herb-infused twist.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir before serving as the peach puree may settle.
