The Oreo Dump Cake is a decadent, easy-to-make dessert that combines crushed Oreos, cake mix, and a buttery topping for a chocolatey treat that’s sure to impress. It’s quick, simple, and indulgent.

Ingredients

1 package (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix

1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup milk

1 cup chocolate chips (optional, for added chocolatey goodness)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. Place the crushed Oreos in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Spread them evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cake mix, milk, and melted butter until combined. If using, add the vanilla extract and chocolate chips. Pour the mixture evenly over the crushed Oreos.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean (a little gooey in the middle is fine).
  5. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before serving. Optionally, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

For extra chocolate flavor, sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the Oreos before baking.

Add a 1/2 cup of peanut butter to the cake mixture for a peanut butter Oreo twist.

You can substitute vanilla or red velvet cake mix for a different flavor variation.

If you’d like a more indulgent dessert, serve with a scoop of vanilla or chocolate ice cream.

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
