Oreo Dirt Cake is a fun, no-bake dessert with layers of creamy vanilla pudding, crushed Oreos, and whipped topping, topped with gummy worms for a whimsical, dirt-inspired look. It’s an easy, indulgent treat that’s perfect for parties, BBQs, or family gatherings.

Ingredients

For the Oreo Layer:

1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Creamy Filling:

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 container (8 oz) whipped topping

1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

For Decoration:

Gummy worms (optional, for decoration)

Extra Oreo crumbs (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. For the Oreo layer, crush the Oreos in a food processor or place them in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. In a medium-sized bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Set aside.
  2. For the creamy filling, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until it thickens, about 2 minutes.
  3. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Add the whipped topping and stir until fully combined.
  4. Spread the creamy filling evenly over the prepared Oreo crust in the baking dish.
  5. For the topping, sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos over the creamy filling. Decorate with gummy worms for a fun, dirt-inspired look.
  6. Cover and refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow it to set.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Mix in mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts for added texture.

For a chocolate twist, swap the vanilla pudding for chocolate pudding.

Use gluten-free Oreos for a gluten-free version of the cake.

This cake can be made ahead of time, and the flavors meld even more after chilling overnight.

Serve with other toppings like whipped cream or fresh berries for extra flair.
