Heavenly Black Forest Cheesecake Bliss combines creamy cheesecake with the decadent flavors of Black Forest cake, topped with cherries, chocolate, and whipped cream. An indulgent treat that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream (for whipping)

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 jar (about 16 oz) of Morello cherries or cherry pie filling

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chocolate shavings

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tablespoons powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for 8–10 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Make the cheesecake filling: Beat together cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Assemble and bake the cheesecake: Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust. Bake at 325°F for 50–60 minutes. The center should still jiggle slightly. Let cool in the oven with the door slightly ajar for 1 hour. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Prepare the topping: Heat the cherry pie filling over low heat, adding sugar or cherry liqueur if desired. Whip the heavy whipping cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  5. Assemble the Black Forest Cheesecake Bliss: Spread whipped cream over the chilled cheesecake, then spoon the cherry topping on top. Sprinkle with chocolate chips or shavings and garnish with fresh mint.
  6. Serve: Remove from the springform pan, slice, and serve chilled.

Notes

Substitute with white chocolate or dark chocolate for a different flavor profile.

Use fresh cherries when in season or add a splash of cherry liqueur for a boozy twist.
