A quick and nutritious Greek Yogurt Parfait layered with creamy yogurt, fresh berries, and crunchy granola, sweetened with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup for a delightful breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Yogurt Mixture

  • 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, more as a drizzle)

Layers

  • 1/4 cup berries (or any other fruit cut into small 1-inch chunks)
  • 1/4 cup homemade granola or store-bought granola

Instructions

  1. Sweeten the Yogurt: If using a sweetener, mix the honey or maple syrup with the Greek yogurt in a small bowl until fully combined, ensuring uniform sweetness throughout.
  2. Assemble the Parfait: Start by placing half of the yogurt mixture at the bottom of a mason jar or bowl. Add half of the berries and half of the granola on top, then repeat by layering the remaining yogurt, berries, and granola.
  3. Finish and Serve: Optionally drizzle additional honey over the top for extra sweetness. Serve the parfait immediately to enjoy the fresh textures and flavors.

Notes

  • You can substitute berries with other fruits such as chopped apples, peaches, or bananas.
  • For a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt and maple syrup.
  • Granola can be homemade or store-bought; adjust quantity to your preference for crunchiness.
  • Serve immediately to maintain the crunchy texture of the granola, or refrigerate briefly but anticipate softer granola.
  • This recipe is customizable; add nuts or seeds for extra protein and texture.
