Frozen Greek Yogurt Bites are a healthy, refreshing snack made with creamy Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, and a touch of honey, perfect for a summer treat or a guilt-free dessert. These bite-sized snacks are packed with protein, probiotics, and natural sweetness.

Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt (preferably full-fat or low-fat)

12 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

1/2 cup fresh fruit (berries, banana slices, or chopped mango)

1 tbsp chia seeds or granola (optional, for added texture)

1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yogurt mixture: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and well-mixed. Taste and adjust sweetness as needed.
  2. Add the fruit: Gently fold in your choice of fresh fruit into the yogurt mixture. Berries like strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries work especially well, but feel free to use any fruit you like!
  3. Scoop and shape: Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the yogurt mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet or tray. Flatten each scoop slightly to form small bite-sized discs.
  4. Top with chia seeds or granola (optional): For added texture and crunch, sprinkle chia seeds or granola on top of each yogurt bite.
  5. Freeze: Place the tray in the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until the yogurt bites are firm and completely frozen.
  6. Serve: Once the yogurt bites are frozen, remove them from the tray and store in an airtight container. Serve immediately or keep them in the freezer for whenever you need a quick, healthy snack.

Notes

Frozen Greek yogurt bites will last up to 2 weeks in the freezer when stored in an airtight container.

You can use flavored Greek yogurt, but adjust the honey or syrup accordingly.

If using frozen fruit, make sure to thaw and drain it well to avoid excess liquid in the mixture.

For a dairy-free version, use coconut or almond milk-based yogurt.

Feel free to experiment with toppings like granola, chia seeds, dried fruit, or cinnamon for extra flavor.

These yogurt bites are perfect for meal prep, and can be made ahead of time for a quick, healthy snack later.
