Dill Pickle Chex Mix is a crunchy, savory snack mix flavored with tangy dill pickle seasoning. Perfect for parties or everyday snacking, it’s a zesty twist on the classic Chex Mix that’s easy to make and incredibly addictive.

Ingredients

3 cups Rice Chex cereal

3 cups Corn Chex cereal

1 cup pretzels (mini or traditional)

1 cup mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, pecans, etc.)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup dill pickle juice

1 tablespoon dill weed

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon paprika

Salt, to taste (optional)

1/2 cup chopped dill pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Rice Chex, Corn Chex, pretzels, and nuts. Mix gently.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, pickle juice, dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt.
  4. Pour seasoning over snack mix and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Spread mixture on the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
  6. Bake for 45–60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even toasting.
  7. Let cool completely, then stir in chopped pickles if using.
  8. Transfer to an airtight container and store or serve immediately.

Notes

Customize with your favorite nuts or snack items like bagel chips or cheese crackers.

Adjust the dill and garlic to taste for more or less tanginess.

Add spice with red pepper flakes or cayenne.
