A rich, creamy pasta dish with Cajun-seasoned chicken, garlic, Parmesan, and a smoky, spicy sauce. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or weekend indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning on both sides. Add more seasoning for extra spice if desired.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Set aside to rest.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and simmer, scraping up browned bits from the skillet for added flavor.
  5. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in butter and Parmesan cheese, and let the sauce thicken.
  6. While the sauce simmers, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips and add to the sauce.
  8. Mix in the cooked pasta, ensuring it’s fully coated in the creamy Cajun sauce.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
