This Cranberry Cream Cheese Spread is a creamy, tangy, and slightly sweet dip perfect for holidays or everyday snacks. With the tartness of cranberries balanced by citrus zest and honey, it’s festive and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup cranberry sauce or finely chopped fresh cranberries

12 tbsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)

1 tsp orange zest (or lemon zest)

Optional: 1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or mint)

Optional: 2 tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts

Optional: pinch of ground cinnamon or cardamom

Instructions

  1. Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature until spreadable.
  2. Stir in cranberry sauce or chopped cranberries until well combined, reserving a few for garnish if desired.
  3. Mix in honey or maple syrup to taste, followed by the citrus zest.
  4. Gently fold in any optional herbs or chopped nuts.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with reserved cranberries, a drizzle of honey, and a sprinkle of nuts or herbs.
  6. Chill briefly for 15–30 minutes to allow flavors to meld or serve immediately at room temperature.

Notes

Use fresh cranberries macerated with sugar for a more tart version.

Add dried cranberries and toasted nuts for extra texture.

Sprinkle cinnamon or cardamom for warm spice.

Swirl in fig or apricot jam instead of honey for deeper flavor.

Add mint or rosemary for a fresh, herby note.
