Cherry Coconut Magic Bars are irresistibly sweet and chewy dessert bars layered with buttery graham cracker crust, melty chocolate chips, tart dried cherries, and coconut, all held together by rich sweetened condensed milk. Perfect for potlucks, holidays, or cozy homemade treats.

Ingredients

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 sheets)

⅓ cup granulated sugar

6 tablespoons (¾ stick) unsalted butter, melted

1 cup sweetened shredded coconut

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup dried tart cherries

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C). Line an 8×8″ or 9×9″ pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy lifting. Lightly grease.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Sprinkle shredded coconut evenly over the crust, followed by chocolate chips and dried cherries.
  4. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top. Tap pan lightly to help it spread. Drizzle vanilla extract over the surface.
  5. Bake for 25–28 minutes, until edges are golden and the top is set. Avoid overbaking.
  6. Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour for cleaner cuts. Slice into 16 bars and serve.
