Cheesy Smoky Stuffed Doritos are crispy chips filled with a creamy, spicy cheese blend and baked to melty perfection. These bite-sized snacks are quick to prep, full of bold flavor, and ideal for parties or casual snacking.

Ingredients

4 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese

1 small jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped

¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

Pinch of garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

24 sturdy Doritos chips (nacho cheese or cool ranch)

12 teaspoons olive oil or melted butter for brushing

Optional: extra smoked paprika or chopped parsley for garnish

Optional dips: salsa, guacamole, sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, jalapeño, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Carefully open each Dorito and spoon about 1 to 1½ teaspoons of filling inside, taking care not to crack the chips.
  4. Arrange the stuffed Doritos on a baking sheet and lightly brush each with olive oil or melted butter.
  5. Bake for 6–8 minutes until cheese is melty and chips are crisp.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with extra paprika or parsley if desired. Serve warm with dips.

Notes

Use different cheeses like Colby or pepper jack for variety.

Add scallions or bell pepper for texture and flavor.

Brush with hot sauce butter or taco seasoning before baking for extra kick.

Best served warm; reheat in a 325°F oven for a few minutes to crisp again.

Make dairy-free using plant-based cheese alternatives.
