Ingredients

2 flour tortillas (8-inch)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for added sweetness)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen, thawed)

1 tablespoon butter, for frying

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream cheese mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, honey or maple syrup (if using), and cinnamon until smooth and well combined.
  2. Assemble the quesadilla: Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over one of the tortillas. Sprinkle the fresh blueberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  3. Cook the quesadilla: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt the butter. Place the assembled quesadilla in the skillet and top with the second tortilla. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, pressing gently with a spatula until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy, and the filling is warm and soft.
  4. Serve: Remove from the skillet and allow it to cool for a minute before cutting it into wedges. Dust with powdered sugar for a sweet finish, if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle with honey or maple syrup before serving.

You can customize this with other fruits like strawberries or bananas for a fun twist.
